Lovely Mary! It was 60 degrees here today for real warmth. Your icicles are a reminder of what it was like only days ago. Sandy's comment is priceless!
Love those icicle shadows! Not something I've ever had hanging over my door. It's funny reading the comments with people comparing their icicle sizes...hehe :D
It's melting! It's melting here today! It is still mostly all white here in the boonies, but it's melting. This is a beautiful shot. I love the rich red and the shadows.
How I remember those beautiful sunny winter days that melted the snow from our roof. And overnight we had huge icicles. It was a game to see whose snowball could break off the largest icicle (without it breaking in the fall).

Soon they will be puddles, shadows of their former selves!
Lovely shadows - very perspective of you.
I could put my hands under your image and catch the melting ice. As I sit here eyeing another hot day, it makes me feel ... cool!
thats cool, my icicles are a lot longer haha. that means it is colder.
Such cute little shadows. ;-)
This reminds me of a piano keyboard. Black keys, white keys, all lined up. Nice capture.
wow..icicles shadows, I guess that's good as spring is near, right?
Great SS...you did well to capture before it melted! Happy Sunday :D
That's something we seldom see here! Great shot and happy Sunday to you!
It's so nice to see little icicles, mine were two foot long off my porch...but all gone today at 60 degrees...yippee, Spring is a comin'!
Dear Mary T
I like your icicles.
I like the shadows that are twice the size of the icicles..
I love shadows!....Love Terry
PS..The snow on the brown metal[?] roof is a nice touch to this photo.
Oh, what a great shot! those are really lovely! Thanks!
I'll break off one of those and pop it into a glass of coke :P

I love it--also love that it's melting here too!
So good to see that ice melting, isn't it?

I'm so glad you thought to look up and spot them. they are very pretty.
Brrr....glad our snow and ice has melted. The icicles do make great shadows though!
Nice picture and I do like the MELTING part. :-)
Happy Sunday, Mary!

There's something about a shadow cast from ice. It seems unlikely and somehow magical, don't you think?
Looks like many, many fingers reaching out to escape you attic!
Very 'kewl' capture ... so unique!
Hugs and blessings,
great little shadows :)
You mustn't keep visitors waiting at the door, they'll be wet before they come inside ;D The icicles make very interesting photos.
