Shadow Shot Sunday

Take away love, and our earth is a tomb.
~Robert Browning

Hey Harriet hosts Shadow Shot Sunday, a fun meme whose title speaks for itself.

This week I was in Florida for a few days and I kept my eyes open for shadow shots. Here are 3:

What I noticed is that the shadows are particularly sharp and dark. I guess because the sun is so strong.

Great shots! I'm particularly fond of the potted palm or whatever it is. :) Shadows are so nifty...

The sun looks very bright. Nothing like sunshine in winter (or a trip to Florida for that matter)

Such warmth generating from these shots! :)
I can't help but notice the umbrella shadow looks almost like a large bird!!

I joined for the first time - my shots are much 'colder' than yours.

These are great. They warm me up. Which I appreciate because I am so cold I am in bed with a heating pad just to pretend there is a thing called August. Thanks for these, Mary.

The shadows on the bricks on top are wonderful. I love that the angle shows the curve in the bushes, although the bushes look straight. Clear and dark is right! More south really makes a diff.

Bonjour Mary
A sun umbrella ? and a palm tree ?
Those are shadows I would like to watch more often at this time !
Perfect for Florida.
Don't try to find mine, I don't participate, too much grey weather here. But I have a quetion for you Mary, as I'm always away from the point concerning the subject of Ruby Tuesday, is there a specific theme this week ?
