Cemetery shots work well for B&W.

I love taking pics of angels in cemeteries.
I need to do some photo editing/playing with some I took this summer - thanks for the reminder!

A wonderful Monochrome.
An imposing and autere cross opposed to a peaceful and comforting character on which face time has passed.
I love it. Cimetery graves are often perfect subject for Monchrome.
Not used to watch melancholic posts in your colored and joyful blog. Though, you're good at it.

The cemetery where you found this statuary must be well cared for. I agree that it's a great subject for monochrome. ;-)

This must stand in an incredible place. Is it a garden cemetery? I would love to see it. Thanks for this great photo.

Your "Grieving Woman" reminds me of Rodin's Fallen Caryatid. The woman trying to do her duty even when the weight is too heavy.
