Manic Monday - Tell Mo Not to Do It!

Mo's word for Manic Monday is SALE.

He's offering for sale his Manic Monday meme. Here's what he says:

" Manic Monday meme and this website ( are up for sale. I hope to pass the reins on to someone who has a passion for the meme. Right now, in my life, I am pulled in too many directions to focus on this weekly meme the way it deserves.
Bids start at $50.00 and can be made via e-mail (Morgen1967 at gmail dot com). Any bid placed in a comment here will be deleted."

Is he pulling our leg? Does he mean to sell this meme? Send a comment along to him and tell him how you feel. Tell him you want him to continue Manic Monday, a tradition that has graced the blogosphere for a long time with him at the helm. As Mags says "he's brought so many people together!"

Tell him how important he is to us and that the Manic Monday meme is so well-known and interestingly diverse. What would Monday be like without Mo and his meme? I don't want to think about it!

Hmmm.... Interesting. I have seen memes like Skywatch passed along but not sold. Don't really get it. But I hope it continues if it makes people happy.

Thanks Mary.
Right now I'm just burnt out.
No one has stepped up to take it over, so maybe I will just take a hiatus or something.
I'm taking a few days of vacation this week, so we'll see how I feel after that.
I appreciate your support and friendship.

Hi Maryt,

As promised (although off topic on this post) an overview article on JStreet folks:

And more on their shenanigans:

You can erase this comment after use, since it's not the place, really.

I also am new to the blogging world and the one thing I have been able to participate in weekly is Manic Monday. I would be lost without it. Am feeling very much like that pouty baby this morning.

Thanks for stopping by and supporting my efforts, Mary.

Happiness New Year.

I so agree! I just read his comment so maybe after a hiatus, he'll feel more like carrying on. I love our Mo...

I would miss MM, but I do understand Mo's predicament. I suggested today that maybe it was time for an MM committee, if there are enough people who can devote the time to it.
