Our trip to the Atlas Mall this weekend was such a lot of fun because we took my grand-nephew to see Santa, to look at the BIG bear in the center of the mall, and to try and climb the BIG RED ornament.
Santa was a sweet, bright-eyed man who gave Jarome a green lollipop.
The BIG GREEN bear was fun to run around and around and around.
But we had trouble climbing the BIG RED ornament because it was so slippery!
Our visit to Santa went very well! Santa had some trouble opening the lollipop for Jarome with those gloves on. Ha!
On this Ruby Tuesday we are a quarter of the way toward Christmas Day.
We are two weeks away from Hanukkah.
19 days away from Kwaanza
and two weeks from the Winter Solstice
Don't forget to sign Mr. Linky, leave a comment, and visit our Ruby Tuesday participants!

Beautiful photos. I also really loved the Christmas lights ones you posted yesterday. Fabulous bokeh.
I didn't see the Mr. Linkie, so here's my link for now:
Making the Mundane Beautiful
Happy Tuesday :).
That's one heckuva big red ball.
Seems Mr. Linky's been throwing a lot of attitude around lately, crashed up the Mono Monday site so bad Aileni had to delete it and start over! But if you're gutsy enough to try it I'll be gutsy enough to link through it.
If it ever shows up that is.
Meanwhile, since I had a good dog last week, I thought the CAT might want his 15 minutes of ... fame?
Ruby Tuesday #16: Equal Time
Dear teach Mary,
The Santa was the Santiest Santa I've ever seen.
He MUST be the real thing!
The green teddy bear was, ahm, weird, but also kind of cute.
I am happy I do not have to enter that ruby red globe. So shiny and it must be slippery too.
To this day the top of ruby items.
From Felisol
Man your Santa really looks the part! He's right out of Miracle on 34th Street.
Or something...
Hi Mary!! I love that Santa of yours, the perfect Coca Cola Santa, if you know what I mean? I love that red ornament, it has a beautiful reflection in it!
I'm featuring a Santa too this week, albeit a different one! It will be up in half an hour! See you tomorrow!
Santa pics rock... You had primo subject matter...
Jerome is a cutie... Has a great smile. Slightly impish, but in a cute way. Looks like he could wheedle his way into anyone's heart!
What beautiful and fun photos and Jerome is adorable! The colors are gorgeous, great decorations and Santa looks really for real! Thank you for the Christmas cheer!
He looks very sweet indeed that Santa and your Jarome is adorable. Love those oversized ornaments, very snazzy.
Greetings from a Sweden that's in bad need of the winter solstice... sigh. Will return with my post when the clock has striked Tuesday here:)
You have all kinds of great stuff around your house. Keeps things interesting I bet.
Love your photos! That looks like so much fun, taking a little one to see Santa.
I'm starting to get into the spirit, thanks to blogging!
Happy Ruby Tuesday on Monday, Mary. Thanks for hosting. ;-)
P.S. Lovely sunset shot to capture the winter solstice..
Oh! I've already meet this Santa somewhere. This man couldn't be someone else than Santa himself!
I love the way Jerôme (that's the way we write Jarome here), the way he looks at Santa, fascinated. He doesn't even look at the lollipop. That's the magic.
Aw Mary, I LOVE the green teddy bear! And you have the best looking Santa I've seen in quite some time. He has the kindest eyes.
My Ruby Tuesday is all about a surprise in the mail....

These are beautiful!
Jerome is a cutie. I love the sweet look on his face while gazing at Santa.
I'm trying but not yet into full holiday mood!
I love the one of Santa opening the lollipop for Jarome.
Wow.. that is a huge Christmas ball! =)
Wow - the big red ornament is totally cool!
My post today isn't about Christmas, but there is some red in it :)
What a great looking Santa! I love the look on Jerome's face as he watches Santa - so adoring!
The huge red ornament is wonderful as is the green bear.
Love the Santa visit, better you than me though. he won't let me sitt on his lap and therefore not fun. :D
Beautiful shots!! Love the red ball!!
What a sweet looking Santa.
Christmas is so much more fun when you have little kids around. That guy makes a great Santa, and I love the way you've focuse in on his face.
Come and see my red nails, Teach!
Think only a lizard can climb up the big red ornament? ha ha.
I just love that bear - mostly green, but with many ruby accoutrements. A holiday bruin without a doubt!
That's an absolutely magical photo of Santa! Priceless!
You do the most wonderful posts
I love how you've included all the other celebrations - I so appreciate that
that Santa is wonderful. straight out of central casting.
Jerome looks delighted!!
Looks like it was a wonderful day.
Wow that sure is a BIG RED ornament! Happy Holidays to you, Teach.
I think that your Santa is one of the cutest Santas I've seen so far :)
My post is here...RUBY TUESDAY
Hey Mary you have some great Ruby photos there! Very in season!!
The garden landscape of a bear in red scarf is adorable :)
Okay, I'm up and running. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Wow, what gorgeous reds!
Love the Santa!

Hi Teach Mary, my entry is up! Nice photos here, BTW.
Cute photos, adorable boy!
Yay! Another Red Adventure over at my blog... oh and Mary, I love the Santa photo, very sweet.
This Santa looks the real man himself!
Here in Singapore, our Santa puts on a fake beard which the kids would pull it off often. hehehe....
I would not be able to climb that slippery red ornament either.
Still no Mr. Linky! Mine is here, http://www.sylviafromoverthehill.blogspot.com.
That is a great Santa! We live smack dab in the middle between two malls -- and both of them have fabulous Santas! Both are VERY elderly men who have their own whiskers... and they have both been serving our two malls for many years now! The kids actually EXPECT to see the one they know! Your mall looks like LOTS of fun!
Kids and Santa..a natural pairing. This Linky thing never works...

What a cutie your grand-nephew is! Great holiday photos Mary!!
That's a "cosy" Santa ! In Belgium we have Saint Nicolas who give gifts to the children on Dec. 6, but he is dressed completely different. I'll show him tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday.
These pics are so great for the memory album! Cute and adorable! Great rubies!
I love seeing Santa again!! and all your reds :)
Wow, that is some Christmas ball!

Hi Mary, Happy Ruby Tuesday! Your posts are wonderful. The Santa is perfect. And I particularly like the "solstice" photo. That's just the way it feels, a tiny bit of light in a gray world.
Mary, your Santa is very red! I am glad you got to be there. Can you remember when you were like the grand-nephew?
Happy RubyTuesday!
..
There is red in my post, though I forgot the banner...but I am giving away MUSIC!
Great picture of your grand-nephew... whose lap is he on?
Oops! Almost forgot to leave a comment! Wonderful series of photos and reminders of all the wonderful holiday traditions.
I think that is the authentic looking Santa that I have ever seen. :D
I hope that your nephew enjoyed himself.
Well done you. Our trips to the mall to see santa have been miserable failures. Love the interfaith countdown.
Cheers

Great job! Love that big red ornament! So shiny! I hope to return next week.
It looks like Jerome enjoyed his visit with Santa!
For my post, I took a shortcut this week, or you might say I'm offering three in one deal
A late submission due to a spotty internet connection. Santa looks good.
