(Pardon the reflection. The photo was taken from inside my car.)
Here are a couple of Autumn trees with sky in the background.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.

Not open minded Miss Teach, just pointing out that your beliefs will take this country into socialism. Spread the wealth, why don't you send me some of yours, let me spread it. Are you teaching your students the merits of socialism?
Oh Sarge, look at the beuatiful skies and the lovely Autumn colors... Put some joy in your life. :)
beautiful...
Wow Sandy, These are gorgeous autumn skies.
Oh, I'm canceling my picture trail account. Sorry. Bye.
Love your glasses. Great shots and you tell that Grumprebublican Sarge what for. Seems that George and his buddies have introduced socialism by default. Who would have thought the US would be nationalising banks?????
you've got some beautiful color happening in that second photo Teach! Enjoy...
Yes, I love these views, the car window reflection included (I even have a name for this 'technique' : TTW : through the window). The ghost in the other window, the ruby tuesday window : gosh, I wouldn't have found it in ten years, but it's there, real halloween scary.
Lovely photos Mary, thanks for sharing.
The fall is late in arriving here in Interior BC with not much color to be found yet. In the meantime, I am finding such beauty around the blogs. Autumn is my fav. season by far!

Dear Teach Mary,
have you seen that vigorous woman down right in the first pic.
Like a Roman victory goddess. What an omen.

Who tires of the beauty of Autumn? These are lovely!
Beautiful shots!
I love the cloud formation Mary.
Your trees are wonderful too - I especially like the last one.
And...I loved the Stephen Wright quote. The world certainly is painted this time of year.
Carletta is right. The world is painted so beautifully. And you have captured it.
Too bad Sarge is blinded to it by politics.
This world is already pretty colorful, but at times I think it lacks love. If we must paint it, let's paint it with love instead!
I miss you!!!!!!
I think the reflection is cool
I love Steven Wright! ;)
The reflection adds a little something special, so no apologises. Those autumn clours are just stunning.
Socialism is a good thing. It means we care for one another. A humane society is the one that takes care of the poorest, socialism. Now I'll shut up and look at those pretty colours again. Obama go!
Some great photos from the road! The trees are such a beautiful golden yellow. ;-)
Happy Sky Watch!
Great photo and quote!
I miss living in an area where there is fall foliage.!!!! major SIGH!!!!
I've been seeing so many beautiful photos of foliage the past few days. I love fall!!!
You have an award waiting for you here . . .

It's strange that our trees in Northern Europe have the same color in automn as yours in Northern America, the sky of course is the same everywhere, lol !
I love the autumn foliage photos. That's one thing we miss out on here in Hawaii.
Hi Mary, you had a very nice ride through the woods, I can tell.
Thank you for sharing with us.
Today I have a bear sitting on a fan if you have time.
Happy Skywatching,
..
GREAT shot regardless of the reflection!
Lovely autumn trees! You have lots of color already!
Oh dear , what is the US of A coming to if you get berated for expressing your opinions. It's still a secret ballot isn't it?
Love your photos and hope the world pulls out of this ugly economic hole.
I love the second photo, but that sky looks interesting!
Nice sequence of shots. Mother Nature does a pretty good job of painting the world, so I don't think Steven Wright has to worry!
Great shots
Wow … the first is spectacular and I appreciate the ‘fall foliage’ because we don’t get to see much of that here in So Cal near the beach. I’ve shared ‘pink clouds on blue skies’ (and a bit of haiku) at Sacred Ruminations ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
There does seem to be a greater variety of colours, a riotful, compared with our rather smaller scale showing. I can't speak for northern Europe though.
Yes, lets have some socialism over there and as long as it is not the New Labour kind, that too will be beautiful.
dont listen to the turkeys they always make noise close to Thanksgiving ...
LOVE the tombstone header pic...
And which of our lovely parkways is that?
:-Daryl
Wow, I thought that this was a sky watch post. Uh ummm....anyway. Mary/Teach as always these shots are stunning. The photo from inside the car of the sky looks simply heavenly.
I wouldn't have noticed the reflection if you hadn't pointed it out.Lovely autumn colors too.
I love the beautiful colours of the trees :)
Not playing today [I have a cold ] but I'm delighted to see the avenues.
Best wishes
Nice SWF post! The clouds in the first are incredible. The colors in the rest... well, who cares WHAT the sky looks like (even though it's nice) with color like that?!
Beautiful skies Mary! Love the colors.
Beautiful - just beautiful!
Intriguing cloud scene from your car....great capture! The autumn trees along the road are stunning! Greetings from Iowa.
Nice shots.
Marvelous, Mary! What a view. Thanks.
Beautiful set of photos. That first cloud is beautiful as are the foliage shots.
