Hey Mary, I like your new glasses! What are your students saying about them?
Now I've seen it all, writing on the restroom baseboards. There are some pretty low people who will stoop to this kind of reading.
I don't think you have been missing me but civilization has returned to us and I am now turned loose on the blogworld again. A meanie named Ike took it away from us for a week, some around here may never get theirs back. ..
I once raced a doberman to the fence -- I won and I was wearing 3 inch heels. Either I was really motivated, or he wasn't trying as hard as he should have been.
In case you're curious, it was my yard. The landlord came to work on something and, since I wasn't home, went ahead and left his dog in the yard while he ran to the store. I came home and made it almost to the porch before the dog charged out from under and raced me to the fence.
I tellya, with the looks of that German Shepherd, I'm thinking...."Can I run away that fast?"...Tho, it's a gorgeous dog and a fabulous photo what with the sun and all!!!
And then, the "Meet me last Thursday"...that is a hoot.

Forgot to say, I was there last Thursday and you didn't come. No one did.
..
I'm going to practice and then challenge that dog to a race.
Wow I love the first pic, sometimes the simplest things make the best pictures. Thanks for sharing
Cheers

Those were lots of fun, Mary! Thanks.
The second one was cute, but I snickered at the first one. While I was growing up we had three German Shepherds.
Shalom Mary. Funny signs indeed.
The plaque you posted at Picture This in quite shocking. Please, can you tell me where it is.
Yes, the timeline was fascinating. I love to roam the Australian Museum with my grandson. It is so kid friendly.

*LOL* My favorite is the 2nd one!
I'm back from my vacation and came up with a little something:
I'd love to see you participating in my first own MEME.

So, how is the teaching this year? Going well?
I like both those signs. You wouldn't take the chance with the dog would you!
Ha ha ha! I love the dog sign!
I´d like to meet myself 15 years ago and tell myself how to have a better life.
these pictures are just a dadge till you hit us with the real liberal stuff...i know you like a book
I like them both, but if the guy (or girls) had been met last Thursday, he never would have made the sign.
