Creative Photography #9

A fountain at a condominium complex in Mt. Sinai, Long Island.

I applied my photo editing software - Maximun filter at 5 pixels - to the photo. I hope you like the results.

Not participating in Creative Photography, but 'a fan' … this fountain photo is WONDERFUL and makes me want to learn how to “apply my photo editing software’ similarly. Love the quote from Garry Trudeau (one of my favs actually) ;--)

This is a classy edit. The image reminds me of a classical painting style ... pointalist I think ... a branch of the impressionists perhaps. Show's you how much Art History I have forgotten!

Nice editing, Mary ~ you gave it an Impressionism feel.

Dale is referring to Georges Seurat, and pointillism ;-)

After the edits, it has transformed into almost a painting :)
Good luck in the contest!

Each droplet of water looks as if each drop was applied one at a time with a fine artist's brush on canvas.

Each drop seems to have been captured in one burst. I like it!
