We contribute a creative photo in the week and Roger will announce the winner on Friday morning.
My offering for this week is my thoughtful gorilla who lives in the Bronx Zoo, N. Y. I chose black & white and I blurred the surrounding trees. I liked the way the light fell on the gorilla's face and body.

I like what you've done. This makes me think of some photos I have in a wildlife book published by Teddy Roosevelt! Great work, Mary.
I fell in love ! I just wish I could sit on his lap !
Great submission Mary I think I am related to that guy "OOH OOH AAH" :D
The black and white tones add to the mystery of the gorillas thoughts. Beautiful capture!
I do like this fellow! Wonderful picture.
Nice creativity, Mary...
Mine in here
It almost looks like a charcoal drawing! Just marvelous!!
I feel a bit nostalgic-I spent every childhood summer at the Bronx Zoo and I miss it sooo much-I am looking forward to bringing my boys there as soon as we get back to NY, but I digress...
I love this gorilla's rotund belly and that you chose b/w. He looks very thoughtful. A captive photo!
he is one handsome dude!
the B&W was a brilliant choice.
He looks quite pensive... kinda reminds me of Hubby Hank... bwahahahahahahahahaha...
Great photo!
Hey, I love him!!!! He'll be great for my Monkey Mondays!! LOL.
Good Luck!
Peace
Mary, that gorilla looks like he's concentrating on something important. I shall not break his concentration here.
