These are antlered deer who were relaxing at the Bronx Zoo when I photographed them. They were pretty far away and wouldn't get up or even turn around for me. So I zoomed in and took the picture. :)

I think the one on the right is winking at you, Mary!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Only another New Yorker would tell me not to move to New Jersey! :-) Believe me, we've really had to swallow our pride in order to even consider this move. And I know you will know what I mean when I say that our friends are slightly less than supportive!
I love the Bronx zoo! Great photo!
DO yOU KNOW THAT REMINDS ME OF ALL THE EXOTIC FOOD I HAVE EAten..reindeer, esgarot, roe, blood pudding, flaming strawberries, kidney pie, grasshopper, ants,
They look very proud ! Men wouldn't look proud with such a head decoration, lol !
Great shot - even if they didn't pose for you. :)
That's a very good zoom you have on your camera... very nice photo even if they didn't pose for you!

Thanks for taking me to the Bronx Zoo - I've never been there. Wonderful CC post! Thanks for stopping by mine.
how cute, don't think i have ever seen any of this kind before
They are strong and amazing creatures.
Such handsome creatures, and very right to ignore mere humans with cameras.
