From top to bottom: I took these photos traveling west on Northern Blvd as I stopped at red lights. I thought the cloud formations were extraordinary. There was about 10 minutes between the first photo and the last.

It also looks like the clouds were moving towards you or you towards them. That big cloud just keeps getting bigger. Nice photographs.
The clouds look like they are building. Is it going to rain?

I love it when the clouds get so puffed up and change as you watch. Beautiful Maryt! Hope you had a nice birthday...
Lovely clouds!
Days filled with these kinds of skies make me lazy - all I want to do is watch them!
Wonderful images!
I always enjoy the cloud shots! These are really nice to look at.
Lots of fluffy clouds. Great collection
Whenever my son stares at the clouds above when the car's moving he'll always say "The clouds are following us!!".
While looking at your clouds they gave me the same feel :)

Wow! the sky sure did change quickly.
Loved the way you arranged the shots, one can get lost in those clouds.
Interesting series. Mother Nature works quickly, does she not?

I love thesse fluffy clouds. I always try to find immages in them, like a bird or an animal.
It must have been a nice drive. :)
I hope you had time to look at the road also. ;)

We all seem to share a common habit, Mary - we never leave home without our cameras! I love broody storm clouds! they're so much like snowflakes; always unique and fleeting.
Those are some amazing clouds
They remind me of peonies ..

I can see a little face on the third picture. Great shots!
Looks like they came fast. I was thinking about Skywatch Friday the other day when storm was coming in. Just did not have a camera with me :o(
Have a great weekend, teach!
Hey Mary, I took a picture out the car window of a storm approaching last night. It was dark and raining down our lake about a quarter mile. We were on our way in to town and did manage to stay ahead of the little storm.
Now to business, I am giving you an award ~~ "5 blogs that make my day." Thank you very much Mary, for doing that.
You can copy the logo for you side bar or where ever from my blog. About the only directions are that you are to pass it along to five others who make your day.
Again, thank you very much for making my day!
..
Not participating, but wanted to say...YIKES. That is some quick weather changes. Have a great weekend Teach. Oh, I added Rogers birthday present to your awards. Big hug. :)

Great sky watch, great pictures.
Amazing to see the sky change so from light to light. Northern Blvd.! That has a familiar ring for an ex-NYer.
