Sky Watch

Tom at Welcome to Wiggers World is hosting Sky Watch today. Tom will be surprised to see that I was going to label my photo above "X marks the spot." Do you see the "X" over to the left? I didn't see it when I took the photo (through my moon roof) just when I looked at it afterwards.

This photo was taken about 10 minutes later. It's the only water tower within miles of me. Doesn't the sky look completely different?

I see the "X" and wonder how that happened. It is amazing how fast the clouds cleared out and left a nice blue sky.

Yep, I see the X as well... that's pretty neat. I'm going to have to start paying attention to the clouds I think, I never really look for that... I wonder how many trees I'm going to "smack" into now looking for "X's" ... LOL
Great post!

When we were children it was so easy to find images in the clouds - maybe we just stop looking.

The clouds are so nice - I love that sort of formation. My first thought the "X" was an aircraft shadow and that the shot was from above :)

That's a heavy mackerel sky. If I were there I'd be having a whopper of a migraine. Wait - I AM having a whopper of a migraine. Are you on the eastern seaboard?

Mary - I've finally posted my Make a Wish Meme on my blog. Only two months after you tagged me. How's that for quick learning (the graphics thing threw me but now I can do it!)
