A very beautiful statue that I had the chance I recently see in a documentary in the TV. Marvellous the photograph from good corner became shot! Nice weekend!
Very nice. Old New England has so much history recorded in its statues.
Did you know our country/state had a famous hero (I know, a lot do have famous heroes)?
Sam Houston. He was the first President of Texas. You'd better come down and check on us. http://jimmiehov.blogspot.com/2006/08/everything-is-bigger-in-texas.html
Nice photo of the Minuteman statue - "one if by land, two if by sea"
For those of you wondering who the Minutemen were - those men who'd be ready in a minute if the British invaded -- just prior to the Revolutionary War in the U.S.
Came on by just to say thank you very much on going to my blog to answer that question of mine. So he was one of the brave who defeated the Red Coats and gave birth to your great country.

Thanks, EG for explaining who the Minutemen were. It takes someone from Canada to explain a period in U.S. history - the Revolutionary War. Ha! :D
Awesome! Wonderful angle and composition!

This is a great use of the sky for a backdrop. I really like the photo. The sky is nice but unobtrusive.
This is my first SWF. It is a lot of fun.
