This is a photograph I took today after a bit of snow yesterday. This is the view outside my home office window.
Below is another photograph I took back in 2005 from the same window. I edited it in a photo editing software. Can you see what I did?
First I got rid of all the electrical cables (unfortunately in my neighborhood electrical lines are above ground - it's an old neighborhood). It took me a long time to erase them all.
Then I added a flare. It looks like the sun is coming through the branches of the evergreen across the street, doesn't it?
Then I used a filter to add some noise to the picture.
What do you think? I'd love some feedback...

Wow, those are pretty good edits. Removing all the red eye reductions in all my daughter's photos drives me senseless at times already :P

The second pic is amazing. The bubbles remind me of The Wizard of Oz. A beautiful witch is about to step out of the bubble?

I am learning that you to to be careful not to edit too much as other parts of the picture can lose their quality. That is where layering in photoshop helps - but I still have not gotten the hang of it totally.

The flare adds a lot of interest to the photo. And the missing electrical lines give the true subject its due. Nice job.
I like both photographs. But the re-touched one reminds me how much these photoshop programs have to offer.
I've got so many old photographs that can use some help. That's my summer project.
