HELP! I have a question!
The 4 most frequently-used letters in the English language are E, T, A and O.
Then why are E, T, R and O almost completely rubbed out on my keyboard?
Anybody have the answer?

Hmmmmm.
When I'm waiting for my thoughts to gel, right before I start typing, I rest my hands on my keyboard. The middle finger of my left hand natural rests on the R key. And sometimes I tap my fingers.
If my R key were rubbed out, that would be why.
I know! I know!
Because 'R' is the sixth-most-frequently used letter in the English language. I remember that from (of all things) an Alvin Fernald book I read back in 3rd or 4th grade. I still remember the first nine letters on the frequency table from it:

I do not have the theoretical answer for it. But I only know that
Letter R is where my finger rest on :P heeheee

Thanks guys! It might be that I don't hit the A key as hard as the R. I hit the R with my index finger and I do hit it pretty hard.
I looked at my old key board and c, v, k, l, m, n, o are almost entirely rubbed out. I can't answer your question but I like the shot. Have a great week.

Methinks I can explain R: don't teachers say Right and wRong more than the average use of same by the general population?
Do you play online Scrabble? I use the 'r' quite often to form new words.

because you are resting your fingers on them and sometimes they are sweaty so you got the letters rub off. =)

my theory, it is because R sits in between E and T. so when you want to get from E to T while typing, your finger might have brushed the R too often. for A on the other hand, the finger is very much stationed there. it doesn't move much eh?
well, that's my theory anyway. lol.

PS. To answer your question regarding which camera I've used capturing the moon. Canon S5 IS, just a Point & Shoot with extended lens :)
I bet it's just poor workmanship. Looks like you give that space bar a lot of work too ;-)
I don't know why, but on my keyboard the K L and C are almost entirely rubbed out.

Maybe it reveals which letters you use the the most or use accidentally when typing.

I have no idea. Our old laptop had several letters that were pretty much worn off. I just don't remember which ones now. LOL! I guess I'll figure it out as this one ages (we've only had it six months).

If it were on my keyboard the reason would be from missing the E and T a lot ;-D
