Photo Hunters - Party

For Photo Hunters Saturday tnchick has given us the word PARTY.

What does this photo have to do with PARTY? Bloggers of a certain age will recognize these items. You couldn't buy them at a store. You had to have a PARTY, a Tupperware PARTY!

Do they still hold Tupperware PARTIES? I don't know. I haven't been invited to one in at least 15 years. Anyway my Tupperware is in pretty good shape, right? That's 'cuz I don't use them much. Ha!

Yep, I remember those, my party is posted. Thanks for stopping by my place last week while I was unable to comment I wish to express gratitude for those kind enough to visit and comment.

My mom used to have these....God, I can still remember what it felt like to have to hang around my room while her gaggle of friends clucked around the living room, oohing and aaahing over the overpriced soft plastic.

What a memory you've unleashed. Thanks...I cherish those times!

Yes, they still hold Tupperware Parties... at least in Germany. I haven´t attended to such a party for ages *G*

Your Tupperware is in excellent shape - looks like new... not like mine... *sigh*

Great take on the theme, b.t.w.
I first thought to post about passion parties, but I changed my mind =)

Happy Hunting!

Hey, I got that one! And, they do have parties. You should see the newest tupperware. I actually wasn't interested 'cause they seemed so contemporary. I like the old stuff. Really. I'm not that old. I'm just say'n.

I have not been to a Tupperware party in exactly 14 years. That is a yellowish-orange Tupperware bowl in my picture. That is the bowl I bought 14 years ago. I use it for everything. I mean everything. It hold candy for Halloween, apples, cucumbers~anything in season from the garden, ice water for blanching, and I'm ashamed to admit this, but the children have it sitting next to their beds when they have the flu, if you get my meaning. Hugs, Kathi (We do bleach it when needed)

They still have Tupperware parties?
They still make Tupperware?
Wow, I don't have any left, but if I did, it would be about 25 years old. Nice nostalgic post. I like that June Cleaver-esque picture. :D

I've never attended a Tupperware party but I remember my mom was able to attend a couple of those parties.

I like Tupperware too because of its good quality.

They still do sell those but I wondered if they still hold parties.

I think I only ever went to one of those and I have very little Tupperware and you're right I never use it. Great idea for the theme Mary.

Clever take on the theme and I had to laugh at the second shot. I guess that I'm aging myself when I say I remember tupperware parties. My recollection was being invited to one in the early 1980s and thinking, that's the weirdest thing I've ever heard of and weird used to be my middle name, ha.

I remember my mom used to drag us to these when we were little. It's a good thing I had my trusty Fort Apache play set!

I remember those. Still have a lot of those Tupperware containers at my mother's house. Some of them I use. Tupperware has changed its looks but I would say these new pieces are not as durable as the ones before.

Have a great week :)

Aahhh, they've stopped doing the parties here now! Actually, that's saved me a lot of money - I always wanted everything!
