Photo Hunters - free

For Photo Hunters Saturday tnchick has given us the word FREE. I had to think for a while but then it dawned on me...

This flag flies over my bank in my shopping center. It tells me every day I live in a FREE country.

I took the photos yesterday on an overcast, windy day.

You and ME BOTH!!!!! Gotta love the flag and what it represents.

If you haven't stopped by to view my 'free' photo, come on over...it's a free trip - oops, no guess not. It costs money to travel the 'net! Happy Hunting.

Excellent choice!

Germany would not be free without the help of the U.S. army. I´ll never forget that. Thank you =)

Too true. The flag flies everywhere in the US, here you have to look a bit harder to find one.
Have a great weekend Mary

Excellent choice for free. It is an honor to live in freedom that many take for granted.

My unusual free post is here:

Excellent post, Gattina on the other hand is living in a country that was made free by the blood of American soldiers, she needs to learn how to say thank you.

Great choice for FREE. I love our flad too and what it means. I'm so thankful to be free.

I made another attempt at a memoir. This time it is three little words. Check my bummer lamb post. Have a great weekend.

Outstanding interpretation of the theme, just considering joining in on this one, put the main link into my files.

In answer to 'what are tobacco sticks'? Years ago when tobacco was grown, after the plants matured, the leaves were stripped and tied on to sticks before being hung in a heated barn to cure the tobacco....needless to say many sticks are still stored in barns. Now tobacco is bulk cured, laid in trays and 'cooked' in metal buildings....tobacco is no longer grown on our farm......

I'm very thankful to live in the land of free because of the brave.....Betty

Very nice pics. I love taking pics of the flag (when the wind is blowing) and the symbolism is perfect for free.

Great choice! And how many flags do most of us pass, and never give it a second thought. Have a good week.

Thanks for your comments on my "free" subject and small things. I did see your flags Saturday. We fly the flag most every day here. Have fun with your macro. My D40X will focus with the subject about 6" from the lens. Marianne's Koolpix will focus at less than an inch.
