Photo Hunters - important

tnchick says we have to blog about IMPORTANT today. Well, I'll show you what's IMPORTANT to me. Or at least ONE of the important things for me.

It's my PDA, my personal digital assistant.

I keep track of all my appointments, memos and notes. I also can keep photos on it on an expandable card. I can then run a slideshow for all my friends to see.

The thingy on the left is called a stylus. You use it to point at things and to write directly on the screen. It's a great little gizmo. I can surf the Internet, put documents on it to carry to another location (I have two full length books on it now). It can hold music and many other applications.

PDA's are great. I'm thinking about a BlackBerry myself.

I've always wanted one... can never decide on which, though. I couldn't do without my laptop... at least till I decided on a PDA ;-)

WOW! I never would have thought of that! But... then... I don't HAVE one - so I haven't come to depend on it! I can relate it to my computer though! And THAT's important! ;)

I love my Palm but it doesn't connect to the internet. I think I would really like a Blackberry but no way can I justify it. Have a great weekend Teach.

I have had two of these, a Psion and a Palm. Both very fun, but I am not to good at integrating them into my life.

I don't have a PDA but I know a lot of people that think they are great. I may end up getting something like that eventually. Good take on the theme. Hope you have a great weekend.

Baby steps, baby steps for me. I haven't dived into the PDA world. But I do know how important my cell phone is with all my numbers in it...

I came here for Show and Tell and find photo hunting, lol ! Doesn't matter I just published mine, it's 6 am here, I am an early bird since I am retired !
That's very practical indeed, I use my mobile for that and my camera I always have with me.

They are so convenient - having all that info. with you. Nice choice for The Hunt.

I had one of these and it was so important in helping me plan my wedding and long distance move. But just 4 years later it is so outdated! The black and white screen and no photo capabilities make it a dinosaur!

Great interpretation of this week's theme. PDAs seem like very useful and important things to have. Have a lovely weekend!

Great choice! Me, I'm old fashioned when it comes to organisers - I still use a Filofax! Happy weekend

PDAs are very handy! :) They can certainly help keep track of important appointments and dates.

Once upon a time I had a life that would have required one of these....not any longer, and you know something...I like it that way.
It has been far too long in coming, but you have been added to The Docking Port blogroll,
Mama Bear

Great choice of subject. I also like using the words ``thingy'' and ``gizmo''!!

The cool thing about PDA I like is being able to download E-Books on it and read it while on the go :)

i used to be a gadget addict but i had to change my priorities to fix my finances because i'm planning to resign from work to practice my profession. So I just rely on text and call feature of my cell. and bought a 4G flashdrive for my files.
PDA does it all and if you couple it with BlackBerry all is set. Always remember to back up your files though = )

I couldn't live without my Palm Pilot, either. I have no brain without it!

I've been thinking about getting one of these. I don't really need it for business, but I can think of a number of personal things I need to store...like lists of music and books for when I'm out and about.

That looks wonderful! And important too, I'm sure, once you've grown an addiction to it...
