Photo Hunters - Classic

The classic CABBAGE PATCH KID pose.

That's his winter outfit. I caught him out for a walk with his nanny. He lives across the street from me.

The psychology behind THE CABBAGE PATCH KIDS is that they have their arms extended (to you) in a loving "pick me up" gesture. In the late 70s they were all the rage.

I was a bit old for the cabbage patch kid craze---just a bit! So I never got one, although my great aunt made my sister and I one for Christmas one year. It was cute!
Cute little picture, too. :-)

Adorable--they are still pretty much in--my girls often adopt extras from the thrift shop. :)

Mary, I didn't have a Cabbage Patch Kid when I was younger since these were not available here n our country, aw! But I had a walking doll and a talking baby doll from relatives living in the USA. And I tell ya, it was a hit with my friends. Had lots of Marvel and DC comics too. But now, these things and more can be had easily due to globalization.

Have a great weekend :)
