1. Christmas is kid-specific.
2. In memories, what was the best part of your Christmases past?
Watching our nephews open up ALL their presents on Christmas Eve. They were the only children so they got plenty of presents.
3. Was Santa ever good to you?
He always brought me everything I wanted.
4. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or both?
Actually both: Christmas Eve with my husband's family; Christmas Day with my family. Works out well that way.
5. Is there something you make each and every year?
I make my own Christmas cards on the computer using my own photographs.
6. What is your favorite five[5] Christmas songs/hymns?
Five of them? Gee...
"I'll Be Home For Christmas" (ALWAYS Makes me cry)
"Silent Night"
"The Christmas Song" (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...)
"Let It Snow, Let It Snow."
"O Holy Night"
7. Is there a new tradition for Christmas since your childhood days?
When I got married all the traditions of my husband's family were new and different from my childhood days.
8. Describe one of your Christmas trips.
Every Christmas Day we would drive up North and visit with my family for the day. My parents, brother, sister-in-law and my niece and nephew always waited anxiously to see us and we them. My niece recently told me that every Christmas she worried that maybe that year we wouldn't be able to come up. We never missed a Christmas with them.
9. Do you have a special Christmas outfit to wear for the day?
Yes, jeans and sweat shirt. :)
10. Have YOU or any of your family members sat on Santa's lap?
I don't have any recollection of sitting on Santa's lap but my nephews have when they were kids.
11. What is/or will be on your Christmas tree this year?
We don't put up a tree because we are never home. We are always out visiting our relatives.
12. Do you/or have you decorated your yard for Christmas?
No. I will decorate my door though with a nice wreath.

I love your word in question #1!
And that melted my heart when you mentioned that there was 'worry' you many not make it that year....that shows a great amount of love in your family!!!
Thanks for playing. Great answers.
[ooooooooo, and Johnny Depp on your sidebar. Nice eye candy!]
Thanks Hootin' Anni, for the suggestion of the meme. I loved doing it! And yes, Johnny Depp -- not bad, eh?

That's a fun post!
Last year we didn't put up a tree either because we spent Christmas & New Year in Egypt. But this year I will do one again although we will spend Christmas in Amsterdam. But I just like to decorate my house.
My link to the meme is on top of the posts.
