Why was Carol Gotbaum alone?

What was Carol Gotbaum doing at the Phoenix airport all alone? Why didn't anyone go with her? After all she was on her way to an alcohol treatment facility. Where was her family? She hadn't been sober for very long and she'd been on a plane where she could have bought alcohol.

Does anybody know why her husband, who was so upset according to the phone calls that have been released to the media, didn't go with her? Did he have more important business to take care of? In his phone calls Gotbaum says she's suffering from "deep" depression and that she was suicidal. Well, damn, if that's not a reason for someone to be with her.

Now I don't know if she ran off by herself before anyone knew that she was gone. But that's not probable. Didn't the husband know what airline to call (U.S. Airways) and what time she'd be trying to catch a connecting flight to Tucson to find out about her?

Well, we're going to find out what happened to her this week I hope. What happened in that room where she was kept...ALONE. Seems like a hell of a lot of people didn't give a sh__ about Carol Gotbaum and now she's dead. A damn shame!
