A Better Look at the iPhone

I know I already posted to this blog today but I found a great video about the iPhone on YouTube. I've been watching commercials for weeks about the iPhone and drooling over it. I'd spend $500. on it in a second but some people in my life think that spending that kind of money is ridiculous. I think THEY are ridiculous.

Anyway (not anyways, mind you) here's a video that tells you a lot more about the iPhone and is funny to boot.

500 DOLLARS FOR A PHONE?
U.S. dollars?
Did you recently change medications or something?
Do you know how many starving fashion models that would feed?
*ahem. climbing down from soapbox now.* :p

Anne, Listen I know where my priorities are! Walking around with the Internet in my pocket? Looking up stuff at a drop of a hat? Too bad Yellow Pages took the slogan "Let your fingers do the walking." LOL! ;)

I've become a real tech junkie...Help me!

Uh, and about those medications...

Do yourself a favor and mozy on down to your local phone store to see what they have. It may be possible to get an adequate cell phone or other gizmo for less money. My phone can do many (but not all) internet-related tasks for am mere 35 bucks. I'm writing to you on my phone right now.

Ah yes texting on the phone...I have a phone and have no idea how to use it. And I call myself a tech nut. I don't think it does anything but let me make a call...

Fantastic ad. Being AT&T only, is a drawback. $500 is a lot of money, but it's a great thing to have.

It does more than text. I can read blogs and most websites with the phone. I use Google all the time, Wikipedia, maps, etc. Of course nothing compares to an actual computer.
What if you wait a few months and see if the prices start to drop? Just a suggestion.

Heck, if you have the money, spend it!

Its all about perspective. 500 dollars for me is too much for a phone, and that's only because 500 dollars is a HUGE percentage of the money in my bank account (especially when you are looking to buy a car...grr).

But garsh, if I had a steady job (and a car, and Cingular, and the money for the plan that it would need...) that phone would be mine.

BUT, even if you don't have the money, I understand your need for it. I spent 300 dollars on a device that doesn't make phone calls, doesn't receive my voice, doesn't have internet, doesn't take pictures, doesn't take video, and basically doesn't do anything substantial...except play music.

Hmmm, I wonder what that is...??

Um, raymond, is it the iPod? huh? :)

Anne, I really am going to wait for the price to come down... And I'm going to look into the phone I have to see what it can do.

Jean, thanks for the comment...Are you thinking about getting an iPhone?
