And I'm going to steal from Daily Kos on John McCain who said on This Week with George Stephanopoulos that he believes Roe v. Wade should be overturned. He believes the abortion question should go back to the states. He's against abortion except for the life of the mother, rape and incest. In 1999 he said he wouldn't want Roe v. Wade overturned.
Now I must have missed him saying that because by the time I turned the show on McCain was saying we need more troops for Iraq. God, I used to like McCain but the affair is over, war hero or not, we can't send more troops into Iraq, and we won't overturn Roe v. Wade.
If I'm not mistaken McCain told George he talked to Henry Kissinger and he agreed we need to win in Iraq. But at almost the same time the International Herald Tribune was quoting Kissinger as saying we can't win in Iraq on another televised Sunday morning news broadcast.
It's over McCain just try running in 2008 and see how far you get.
