This is Golden Pond in Bayside Queens. That RED ladder hanging from the back of the seats is used to save anyone who might fall into the pond when it's frozen.

ReplyDeleteDon't you love how people have to prepare for other people being drawn toward disaster? When I was in Toronto recently and going past High Park on the streetcar, I kept looking at the orange lifering and the big hook ready for anyone who might get into trouble on the pond.
