But I suspect that the inner conviction that he can do nothing wrong, and go on living as he was doing was so strong within him that any sense of right or wrong never registered in Las Vegas. Recall how Al Capone was sent to jail...not for killing anyone.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30988056.post-30302327664868070272007-09-18T11:09:00.000-04:002007-09-18T11:09:00.000-04:00Anime, I admire Stewart Zamudio but he's certainly...Anime, I admire Stewart Zamudio but he's certainly getting a lot of publicity. And he's a model! Click on his name in my post and you'll see a modeling picture of him.

I hate to think Petraeus is just a yes man...but I guess that's right since he hasn't yet been fired by Bush.

OJ isn't going to hell...but he very well may be going to prison for a very long time! :)maryt/theteachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17516961981692076719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30988056.post-12249271555344844182007-09-18T09:29:00.000-04:002007-09-18T09:29:00.000-04:00Yeah, jm4847, he is really that stupid! It really would not. Even if the commanders agreed with him, those up higher who did not would come down on them (and him). There is also the fact that he went around PR guys and whatnot, and that never goes well.

The only thing I think he got wrong was the part where if he had the starts to talk to the president, he would tell him his thoughts. He obviously has not been in for very long, or is knowledgable about the higher ranking generals in the recent past.

I say that because General Shinseki (and many others too!) stood before Bush and all of them all why their plan would not work, why they should not do what they are doing. He stepped down because they did not listen to him. The basic reason was "If they are not going to listen to me, why am I even there?"

He was not alone and many other generals stepped down and/or fell out of the limelight.

This is why guys like Paetraeus is in charge - because he is a "Yes Man". Bush and his group refuse to be around those that are not...and if they are around them, then their words are simply ignored.

And OJ can just go to hell. ^_^Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30988056.post-65131668989402569442007-09-17T16:41:00.000-04:002007-09-17T16:41:00.000-04:00People have wanted OJ to do something for years bu...People have wanted OJ to do something for years but I wonder, is he really that stupid?

I'm not saying that he is innocent, but he can't be this dumb.

And about Zamudio, I'm glad he has the courage to do what's right.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
