BTW if you don't have photo-editing software or know how to use it, you can post the blank Maxine and type your text underneath... how's that?

The best one will win a prize (I haven't picked it out yet...) You don't have to be a mother to play, or even a woman, you can be a dad, a man or a pussy cat!

Here's some Yard Art from a condo development way out on Long Island (exit 70 on the LIE). While my BIL and SIL looked around at the various styles of spaces I walked around taking pictures.

This is a stone basket planted with pansies. Very pretty!

I thought you'd like to see a very special gift given to me by my sister-in-law, Grace. It's a new Chanel Sheer Colour Lipshine called "Panerea." Panarea is one of the Aeolian Islands that sits in the Mediterranean Sea of the coast of Sicily. Today it has become a premier vacation spot for the glitterati.

My sister-in-law was born there some years ago. She left Panarea with her Mom, Dad, 2 sisters and a brother back in the 1950s and has lived in the United States ever since.

The Titanic Memorial at Woodlawn Cemetery

In 1912, Mrs. Anna Bliss dedicated this larger than life memorial to those who died in the sinking of the Titanic. The quotation on the [back] front reads "Our souls have sight of that immortal sea which brought us hither" from Wordsworth. Mrs Bliss is interred in a crypt cut into the back of the monument.

The memorial sits atop a small hill and it is incredible to see. We spent a good long time admiring it.
